Connect Google Search Console

Connect Google Search Console so Erlin can show your search clicks, queries and pages next to your AI visibility.

Connect the Google account with access to this property.

Connect Google Search Console to review search information for the website in Erlin. Erlin only reads it, and asks for the read-only Search Console permission. Add and verify the site in Search Console first if you have not. Use the property that matches the active brand, then inspect page and query performance within the available data.

1. Connect the account

Open Integrations > Google Search Console and complete Google sign-in. Use an account with access to the intended property, and review the permission request before approving it.

Use Add account under Google accounts if the account you need is not connected.

2. Review the matching property

Under Properties, choose the property for the website when more than one match is available. Check the domain or URL scope carefully so the selection covers the pages you intend to review.

A successful sign-in is not proof that the selected property contains the required data.

3. Read search results in context

Use Landing pages for page-level search information. Review search clicks alongside the reporting period. Once Erlin has fetched page level data the first time, it refreshes it from Google automatically every 30 days.

Search performance and tracked AI answers are different evidence. A page can perform well in search while an individual AI answer omits the brand, or be cited without a recorded visit.

4. Handle missing data

If the expected property is absent, check the Google account and access. If the property is connected but results are empty, inspect the period and data status before treating the result as zero.
